Activities:	Read the literature text Discuss the characters in the drama. Students copy down the main points or the characteristic of the characters. Students do the written exercise.

Topic:	Reading comprehension – How Kate transformed herself to overcome her grief.
Learning outcomes:	2.1 Obtain information for different purpose by; c. reading materials in print such as reports and articles. 2.2 Process information by; a. skimming and scanning for specific information and ideas. b. extracting main ideas and details.
Specific objectives:	By the end of the lesson, students should be able to: i)                    Write a short summary for about 130 words using the correct information from the text.
Teaching Aids:	Newspapers, worksheets , reading text , dictionaries.

Moral value:	Love and care for other people.
Activities:	Teacher brainstorm with the students to get their opinions about the pictures. Students read the text silently for 5 minutes. Teacher goes through the text with the students, questions and answer session. Students write few difficult words and find the meanings from the dictionary.(group work) Students underline and explain the main ideas for each paragraph using their own words. Students do the written exercises.
